結成から丸３年、sphere 1st album『Echo and Narcissus』が自身のﾚｰﾍﾞﾙTETRAHEDRONより発表される。ﾗｲﾌﾞでは圧倒的なﾌﾟﾚｾﾞﾝｽを放つsphereｻｳﾝﾄﾞが遂にﾍﾞｰﾙを脱ぐ。
曲間をS.E.でつないだ「ﾉﾝ・ｽﾄｯﾌﾟS.E.数珠繋ぎ」をそのままに、46分に亘るそのｺﾝｾﾌﾟﾁｭｱﾘｰなｻｳﾝﾄﾞはまさに「上界から見下ろした様々な風景」。
HOODISの結成、ZEPPET STORE『swing,slide,sandpit』の再発と一夜限りの再結成などを経ても尚揺るぎない独自の色彩感覚で1音1音を紡ぐ五味のｻｳﾝﾄﾞ・ｺﾗｰｼﾞｭに中條の刹那さを感じさせるﾒﾛﾃﾞｨｰﾗｲﾝと温かな空気感を持つ繊細かつ透明な歌声が重なる。
KIYOSHIと石橋が支えるﾘｽﾞﾑﾄﾗｯｸは動と静を巧みに使い分け、光と影を織成するsphereｻｳﾝﾄﾞを変幻自在に切り刻む。
